![]() ![]() So we kind of took that and molded a little bit to have a little bit of our own spin, but still really kind of base it there. ![]() So we kind of started at a base of getting you know a rough look of the trio - or the Trinity, rather - with like the Rebirth series. And what we try to do is not only get ones that looked cool, right because, you know, there's so many different costumes throughout like various iterations of DC Comics and the Justice League themselves. But honestly, we just bought a lot of comics, I have a fat stack of some of my favorites right here. I can talk about it from like, an art side and I'll hand it over to Brian who can kind of fill you in with more of the narrative Easter eggs from a story perspective. Can you talk a little bit about putting those Easter eggs in the game and why they were so important?īren King: Yeah, for sure. Yeah, and I know there's a lot of references in the games to the comics through tons of different costumes that players can unlock and that sort of thing. Not only so we can really play into who our audience is but also like, make callbacks to where the actual, like media came from. So that was something that we wanted to kind of bring over into this iteration of our interpretation of The Justice League, bringing a lot of those bright saturated colors makes it feel very fun. And one thing that we really loved about comics - and I have one right here - is just the bright nature, like a lot of DC Comics kind of back in older series when there was just a lot of playfulness and bright saturated colors that really came in and filled through all the panels.
